Increased Transparency in the Long-Term Care Industry
David Marshall, Managing Shareholder, Latsha, Davis & Marshall Attorneys at Law

Federal governmental agencies are seeking increased transparency in the ownership and operations of health care providers, particularly in the long-term care sector. From Medicare and Medicaid certification perspectives, significant new disclosures are required with regard to finances, ownership and control structure of providers, and more. Nonprofit organizations may have additional disclosure requirements under the federal Corporate Transparency Act, depending on their organizational structure, and the nature of their operations and subsidiaries.

This session is intended to review the new requirements, so that providers can prepare for and comply with them.
