Compliance Specialist
With more than 25 years of operational and nursing experience in the healthcare industry, Donna brings a background in long-term care and hospice experience. She previously served as the Director of Nursing and, more recently, the Executive Director at Chambers Pointe at Menno Haven, Inc., a Mennonite-affiliated continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. While at Menno Haven, Inc., Donna led a 5-star rating and three deficiency-free surveys. Prior to that, Donna served as Director of Nursing for a Presbyterian Senior Living Community in Newville, PA also a CCRC. Her career included roles as Nursing Aide, Licensed Practical Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, and Hospice Case Manager.
Donna maintains an active registered nursing license and an active nursing home administrator license in Pennsylvania and holds certifications as a Nursing Director in Long Term Care (CNDLTC) and a Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC-CT), both nationally recognized professional organizations. Her expertise encompasses operational and clinical areas, including education and training of staff. She also excels at survey readiness and plans of correction, including writing, auditing, successful compliance management, staff leadership, quality assurance, and improvement while assisting in implementing resident-centered neighborhoods. Additionally, Donna has developed and successfully implemented the DON Mentoring Program at FSA over the past two years.
She holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Shippensburg University.
