Managing Up: Building Strong Relationships with Your Leaders

This new Learning Lab is designed to help employees develop the skills and strategies needed to manage their relationships with higher-ups, align with their goals, and contribute to the overall success of the organization. We will review the differences between leading from a place of influence versus authority.
Participants will also learn about the Situational Self-Leadership Model, which focuses on how individuals can manage and lead themselves based on their current level of competence and commitment in a given task or situation. It emphasizes the idea that people can adopt different leadership styles for themselves depending on their needs in various contexts.
