Summer Event Series

Welcome to FSA’s Summer Special Event Series, which features a different member organization every few weeks. While our members have a shared set of values, each is distinctive in its setting, service delivery, admissions procedures, contracts, and financial arrangements. The programs of each organization grow and change over time in response to evolving needs. Each seeks to be responsive to its residents or clients and the needs of its surrounding community.

Up next: Pennswood Village

The Pennswood Village community gathers an exceptional group of people who share a fellowship of inspiration in a place of remarkable natural beauty. It’s an inviting community influenced by Quaker Guiding Principles. 

Pennswood Village had several events this summer, with more on the horizon. The resident events are provided by Pennswood with Pennswood Foundation planning.

In June, there was Pennswood Village’s 44th Birthday Party with Lolly Barton and the Magnolias. A few days after that, there was a Hot Diggity Dog Day celebration and picnic.

In July, Pennswood Village hosted a Wellness Fair hosted by Resident Life. Later that month, there was a 2024 Paris Olympic Opening Party in the Bistro with live music.

There are monthly live music events in the Bistro that are attended by many.

Pennswood Village is celebrating the Fall season with a Clam Bake and Annual Appeal Kick-off Party hosted by the Foundation in September.
