Microaggressions are defined as the everyday, subtle, intentional — and oftentimes unintentional — interactions or behaviors that communicate some sort of bias toward historically marginalized groups. We’ll discuss survival strategies, prevention steps and how to spot concerning behaviors.

Effective collaborative decision-making requires a climate of openness and trust, in which participants can share their viewpoints without judgment or recrimination, and ultimately support the decision of the group–even if it is not their preference. Learn the underlying principles of the process and the roles and expectations of the facilitator and participants. Great for board and senior staff members.

Explore your use of time and how it impacts work/life balance. 

Together, we will identify the things that may prevent us from using time efficiently, employ techniques for tackling procrastination, learn tactics for prioritizing and maximizing time, and more. We will shine a light on how to manage the stressors that affect you and identify the causes of stress both in and out of the workplace. Then, we will discuss management strategies and create an ongoing stress management plan.
